Agilus is recruiting for several Assembly / Quality Assurances in the manufacturing industry in Ferndale, Washington.
Agilus Work Solutions is hiring Custom Assemblers and Quality Assurance Specialists for a leading manufacturer of high-end products. These hands-on roles involve precision craftsmanship, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Total rewards:
  • $22.00 - $30.00 hourly
  • $50/day training travel stipend during training period
  • Paid initial training at Canadian facility

A typical day:
  • Assembler: assemble custom products to exact specifications using precision tools. Interpret technical drawings and adjust for non-standard dimensions.
  • Work across multiple production areas including assembly and QA. Ensure flawless fit and finish on every project. Maintain safety standards and proper tool use.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Assist with packing/loading as needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: inspect completed products for dimensions, alignment, and aesthetics. Verify SKUs, paperwork, and labels against production documentation. Examine finished surfaces for color uniformity and defects.
  • Record inspection data and defect codes in real time. Collaborate on root-cause analysis and rework tickets. Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams. Support continuous improvement in quality processes.
  • Interpret technical drawings, verify documentation, and adjust for non-standard dimensions. Inspect finished products for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality standards.
  • Record inspection data, defect codes, and collaborate on root-cause analysis and rework. Work across multiple production areas, assist with packing/loading, and support team goals.

Successful candidates will have:
  • Experience in woodworking, assembly, or quality assurance preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop plans
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely
  • Physical stamina: standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and hands-on work
  • Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle and ability to travel across the US/Canada border
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and demonstrating mechanical aptitude
