Senior Project Coordinator – Turnover, Closeout & Operational Readiness (Hybrid)
Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Coordinator in the Oil and Gas industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role supports major capital projects as they transition from execution into operational ownership. The Project Coordinator IV partners closely with Project Managers and Business Units to drive project lifecycle gating, operational readiness, and closeout activities. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring projects are turned over efficiently, issues are resolved, and governance requirements are met—directly impacting cost, schedule, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Support efficient project turnover and closeout activities
Coordinate and track Project Lifecycle Gating Control reviews
Develop and maintain detailed project closeout plans
Represent projects in Operational Readiness Assurance reviews
Track and resolve deficiencies impacting project turnover
Report closeout status, risks, and issues to leadership
Coordinate across project teams, business units, and stakeholders
Support Project Managers throughout late-stage project delivery

Requirements:

Bring five or more years of project coordination experience
Demonstrate experience with project turnover and closeout
Apply knowledge of operational readiness and gating processes
Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
Work independently while coordinating cross-functional teams
Use project and office software tools efficiently
Adapt to extended hours during key project milestones

Total rewards:

$50.00 - $60.00 hourly
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, max pay rates $50/hr (T4) and $60/hr (inc.)
One-year contract with immediate start
