Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the energy in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta.
Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting large-scale industrial projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead electrical engineering deliverables from concept through commissioning, collaborate with diverse technical teams, and provide mentorship to developing engineers. Earn a competitive salary ranging from $156,000 to $198,000 annually

A typical day:

Lead electrical engineering activities for assigned projects and project scopes
Develop, review, and approve electrical engineering deliverables and technical documentation
Coordinate electrical design activities with process, mechanical, instrumentation, piping, and automation teams
Support procurement activities through requisition preparation, vendor reviews, and technical bid evaluations
Identify technical risks, resolve engineering issues, and support project change management processes
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers and designers

Requirements:

Hold an accredited Electrical Engineering degree and P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration
Demonstrate strong experience delivering electrical engineering work on industrial projects
Apply expertise in low- and medium-voltage power distribution, motor control, protection systems, and VFDs
Develop and review electrical deliverables including single-line diagrams, load lists, MCCs, cable schedules, grounding systems, and hazardous area layouts
Understand procurement, construction, commissioning, and multidisciplinary project execution processes
Communicate effectively with stakeholders while managing priorities in fast-paced project environments
