We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process and help our client to attract top talent.
Agilus is recruiting for a Recruiter in the engineering sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
The ideal candidate will have at least five or more years of experience in recruitment or human resources, with strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques, and compliance requirements.

A typical day:
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Utilize multiple recruiting channels (job boards, social media, networking) to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coach and mentor leaders on best practices in regard to the recruitment process, hiring approach, and candidate suitability.
  • Be a champion for the Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and candidate databases
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior recruiters and hiring managers.

Successful candidates will have:
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a fast-growing organization
  • Experience using a data-driven, metrics-focused strategy to source and successfully place candidates across diverse positions, including technical roles
  • Experience building and using a variety of sourcing tools and strategies to find candidates
  • Creative and knowledgeable with technology to improve processes and strategies
  • Experience recruiting for Engineering, Field Services, or other professional environments would be an asset
  • Experience with immigration processes for both Canada and the United States would be an asset

Total rewards:
  • $70.00 - $90.00 annually
  • Salary based on experience

  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (UKG Kronos) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
