Project Manager - Risk Management

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager - Risk Management in the Oil and Gas Sector in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta.
Our midstream client is hiring for a PM of Risk Management for their Edmonton or Calgary office. This is a 1 year contract with potential for extension.
A typical day:

Lead the implementation of an enterprise project risk management framework across a diversified major projects portfolio (liquids, gas, utilities), covering risk identification, assessment, response, monitoring, and escalation.
Provide technical risk leadership to multiple project teams, supporting risk-based decision-making, contingency planning, constructability reviews, and lessons-learned facilitation.
Establish and maintain project risk management plans, facilitate qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, and ensure timely updates to risk registers.
Advise stakeholders on risk treatment strategies, controls, and mitigation plans, monitoring risk status shifts and escalating emerging or critical risks as required.
Work closely with Project Managers and Project Development to support estimate contingency reviews, execution strategy, and risk-informed governance.

Successful candidates will have:

8–15 years of experience in major capital project risk management.
Demonstrated proficiency with @Risk, Deltek, or equivalent risk/estimating tools.
Strong experience in large infrastructure or energy projects.
Valid driver’s abstract required, ~10% travel to project sites.

Total rewards:

$82.00 - $95.00 hourly
1 year long contract with potential for extension.
Hybrid work model out of Edmonton or Calgary office.
