Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Project Engineer in the Engineering industry in Edmonton, Alberta.
Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer with a growing Edmonton-based engineering organization that delivers complex industrial and commercial projects across Western Canada. This position combines hands-on mechanical engineering with project leadership responsibilities, providing an opportunity to lead projects from concept development through construction and commissioning while working closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Total rewards:
  • $125000.00 - $140000.00 annually
  • Earn a base salary of $125,000 to $140,000 based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering projects from concept development through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and closeout
  • Coordinate activities between clients, engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and field personnel
  • Manage engineering deliverables to ensure quality, constructability, and compliance requirements are met
  • Support project execution by resolving technical issues and collaborating with construction teams
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and change control activities
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts and external consultants
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members
  • Support proposals, project planning, technical evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program
  • Maintain P.Eng. registration with APEGA or eligibility for Alberta registration
  • Possess at least five years of engineering experience supporting industrial projects
  • Demonstrate experience within EPC, consulting, fabrication, or industrial construction environments
  • Apply knowledge of engineering standards, quality processes, and document control procedures
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables and support construction or field execution activities
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel periodically to project sites across Alberta as required
