Design & Deliver Critical Gas Processing Equipment as a Mechanical Engineer in EdmontonAgilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer in the Engineering industry in . Join a growing engineering team supporting the design and certification of pressure vessels, piping, and gas processing systems. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration, offering exposure across project lifecycles—from concept through fabrication and compliance. Total rewards:- $120000.00 - $150000.00 annually

Responsibilities:- Develop and review engineering drawings and calculations for vessels and piping systems
- Prepare and submit design packages for CRN registration
- Support project teams across engineering, drafting, QA, and fabrication
- Participate in ASME and ABSA audits and certification processes
- Interpret client specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and improve internal engineering standards and procedures
- Review and implement welding procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical best practices
Requirements:- Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- Maintain active registration with APEGA
- Bring 8–20 years of relevant engineering experience (preferred)
- Demonstrate strong Oil & Gas or gas processing experience
- Apply knowledge of pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and pumps
- Understand ASME codes (B31.3, Section VIII Div 1) and industry standards
- Interpret P&IDs, line lists, and piping stress considerations
- Use Microsoft Office tools effectively in project execution
