Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead production operations in a modern manufacturing facility. This role combines workforce leadership, production planning, continuous improvement, and operational strategy to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

A typical day:

Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives
Develop production schedules, workforce plans, and resource allocation strategies to meet customer demand
Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors, coordinators, and manufacturing personnel to build a high-performing culture
Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance
Collaborate with quality, maintenance, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes
Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and support the implementation of a new ERP platform

Requirements:

Demonstrate at least 5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
Lead and develop teams while building engagement, accountability, and strong workplace culture
Apply experience with production planning, resource allocation, and operational performance management
Utilize ERP, MRP, or similar manufacturing systems effectively in a production setting
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles with Six Sigma certification or experience considered an asset
Communicate effectively with strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
