Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Estimator / Project Coordinator in the construction & engineering sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
Join a dynamic, vertically integrated engineering and construction environment as an Estimator / Project Coordinator. In this role, you will contribute to commercial acoustic and containment projects, working closely with designers, contractors, and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an EIT, CET, or experienced estimator to grow into design or management while gaining exposure to diverse projects across industrial and commercial sectors.

A typical day:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, take-offs, and bid packages for construction projects
Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and material procurement
Respond to bid clarifications and adjust pricing or timelines as needed
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to define project scope
Manage multiple projects ranging from small-scale to $1.5M commercial builds
Support project execution and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related discipline
Demonstrate eligibility for APEGA or ASET registration, or equivalent experience
Possess 2+ years of estimating experience
Show strong knowledge of construction projects, ideally in commercial environments
Exhibit proficiency in AutoCAD and strong communication skills
Maintain a valid driver’s licence and ability to commute or relocate
