Data Analyst – GIS & Infrastructure Data | 1-Year Contract Opportunity
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Data Analyst in the Utilities sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support infrastructure and compliance initiatives within a collaborative technical team. This role focuses on analyzing, organizing, and visualizing operational data to support informed decision-making across internal stakeholders and subject matter experts. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with structured datasets and GIS tools.
Total rewards:

$35.00 - $40.00 hourly
Competitive hourly rate of $35–$40 based on experience
One-year contract with potential for extension

Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret operational and compliance-related data
Compile, manage, and maintain accurate tracking sheets and documentation
Utilize GIS and Microsoft tools to visualize and present data findings
Support internal teams with research and data insights
Coordinate with subject matter experts and compliance teams
Manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

Bring 2–5 years of experience in a data-focused role
Demonstrate proficiency with ArcGIS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
Apply strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
Interpret data inputs and draw meaningful conclusions
Work independently with excellent organizational skills
Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats
Leverage experience with pipeline systems or integrity data as an asset
