Agilus is recruiting for a Business Development Manager in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Edmonton, Alberta.

Total rewards:
  • $120000.00 annually
  • Competitive base salary of approximately $120,000 plus up to 25% bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and activity goals for the team
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and joint customer visits
  • Oversee CRM accuracy and manage pipeline reviews and forecasts
  • Support reps in prospecting, proposals, pricing, and negotiations
  • Identify new markets and strategic growth opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure post-sale satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with operational capabilities

Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in outside sales or business development within technical or industrial sectors
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and motivate a team
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events
  • Understanding of technical products and industrial systems; hydraulics experience is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and a hunting mentality with a passion for growth
