Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic Accountant to join our client's team
Agilus is recruiting for an Accountant in the gaming sector in Edmonton, Alberta.
This role will support day-to-day reporting and accounting operations
What's in it for you:

$25.00 - $30.00 hourly
3-month contract position
Pay rate based on experience
Work hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Monday to Friday in office
Location: West Edmonton Mall area

A typical day:

Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks and basic financial reporting activities.
Complete Everi Cash Call Statement reconciliations
Review and validate inventory-related data to ensure accuracy
Prepare Server Due Back summaries for senior accountant review
Perform third-party credit card processor VS (F&B POS) reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile Gift Certificate tracking
Manage and reconcile Internal Comps Meal usage
Update and maintain F&B inventory records and Excel work files

You bring:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in a hospitality, gaming, or food & beverage environment
1 to 2 years of experience with credit card settlement systems and Food & Beverage POS reconciliations
Experience with F&B POS systems (e.g., Squirrel) and financial systems such as Great Plains
Solid Excel skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with follow-through
