Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Compost Sorter in the Waste Management sector in Debert, Nova Scotia.

What's in it for you:

$19.00 hourly
Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Potential to turn into a permanent position
4% vacation pay on every pay
Weekly pay! Every Friday!

Responsibilities:

Separating waste material from packaging
Rinsing out Yogurt containers
Disposing of Produce in proper area
Disposing of Carboard in proper area
Maintains cleanliness of facilities by performing routine janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
Supports sustainability and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment
Any other duties as necessary

You bring:

Reliable transportation - this role is not on a bus route
Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Follow Health and Safety protocol
Able to work 40 hours a week
Must be comfortable working night shift
