Lead Critical Security Operations in the Energy Sector – Senior Security Specialist / Operator (High-Impact Contract Role)
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Security Advisor in the energy sector in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Specialist / Operator to protect personnel, assets, and operations across corporate and field environments. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on incident response, offering the opportunity to influence security programmes while actively monitoring and mitigating risk in real time.
What's in it for you:- $160000.00 - $170000.00 annually
- Earn a competitive daily rate of $790
- Receive $50 per day subsistence allowance
- Benefit from mileage reimbursement at $1.15 per km

A typical day:- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms and incidents across multiple sites
- Coordinate emergency response actions with internal teams and external services
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend security improvements
- Lead or support incident investigations and reporting processes
- Maintain security documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to strengthen security programmes
Requirements:- Bring 10+ years of experience in security operations or risk management
- Demonstrate expertise in security systems, threat mitigation, and emergency response
- Manage incidents, investigations, and vendor relationships effectively
- Operate confidently in both strategic planning and hands-on environments
- Communicate clearly and coordinate across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Show strong decision-making skills with a focus on safety and risk mitigation
