Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Forklift Operators in the logistics industry in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced transportation and warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, safety-focused individual with proven counterbalance forklift experience who enjoys working as part of a skilled team. If you have experience in freight handling, warehouse operations, and operating forklifts in a transportation setting, we'd love to hear from you!
What's in it for you:

$23.41 hourly
Consistent schedule: Day shifts, Night shifts and Weekend shifts
Weekly pay + 4% vacation pay
Opportunity to work in a well-established transportation operation
Hands-on, active role with a variety of responsibilities

A typical day:

Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move freight throughout the warehouse
Loading and unloading trailers and freight shipments
Transporting skids and pallets to designated warehouse locations
Performing manual material handling of packages and freight weighing up to 50 lbs.
Organizing and staging freight for shipping and receiving
Completing required reports and documentation accurately
Assisting with inventory movement and general warehouse operations
Following all workplace health and safety procedures

Successful candidates will have:

3+ years of previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
Experience working in a transportation, freight, or logistics environment
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
Ability to stand, sit, squat, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots
Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check
Reliable transportation to and from work
