Contract Plant Operator – Fly-In/Fly-Out | SAGD Facility | 8/6 Rotation | Camp Provided
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contract Plant Operator in the Oil & Gas / Energy in Christina Lake, Alberta.
Join a high-performing SAGD operation as a Contract Plant Operator, where safety, teamwork, and operational excellence are paramount. You will operate and maintain critical plant systems, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a strong safety culture while working a structured fly-in/fly-out rotation.
Total rewards:

$55.00 hourly
Fly-in/fly-out rotation from Calgary or Edmonton
Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
Structured 8 days on / 6 days off rotation
Competitive contract opportunity in SAGD environment

A typical day:

Operate and monitor plant equipment to meet production targets
Troubleshoot and optimize area-specific systems
Perform condition monitoring, sampling, and testing
Document activities and maintain accurate electronic logs
Conduct operational rounds and inspect equipment
Support maintenance activities using LOTO procedures
Participate in safety audits, walkarounds, and HSE initiatives

Successful candidates will have:

Legally authorized to work in Canada
Minimum 2 years operating experience in industrial or energy sector
Previous SAGD experience preferred
3–5 years of total relevant experience preferred
Fourth Class Power Engineering Certificate required
Third Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred
Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
