Agilus is recruiting for a Electrical Engineer in the manufacturing Industry in Toronto, Ontario.
This opportunity is ideal for an engineer who’s passionate about automation, innovation, and hands-on project work. In this role, you’ll design, program, and test automated systems while contributing to exciting internal projects featuring new equipment and technologies. You’ll create electrical diagrams, optimize processes, and drive continuous technical improvements, all while collaborating closely with production, maintenance, and external suppliers. If you enjoy applying advanced engineering principles, solving complex challenges, and developing cutting-edge solutions with autonomy.
A typical day:

Design, program, and test automation systems (PLCs/PLCs, HMIs).
Create electrical diagrams
Optimize processes and propose technical improvements.
Ensure technical documentation and project monitoring.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and suppliers.
To leverage technical knowledge to design and develop new solutions, technologies or applications in electricity and automation.

Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers
Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other systems.

Total rewards:

$36.00 hourly
One year contract
Weekly pay
Preferred rates for benefit coverage available

Soft skills:

Knowledge of electrical schematics, applicable standards, and codes
Programming skills
Ability to design, diagnose, and optimize electrical and automated systems.
Understanding of networks
Ability to read and create electrical diagrams
Rigor, autonomy, and strong analytical skills.
Technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team with production, maintenance, and suppliers.
