Pharmacy Assistant Role Open Now! - Contract Opportunity to start ASAP
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Warehouse Pharmacy Associate in the pharmacy sector in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant (Warehouse Operations) to support a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment. This is a short-term opportunity ideal for candidates with strong shipping/receiving experience who thrive in structured, high-accuracy roles.
Total rewards:

$19.00 hourly
Structured Monday–Thursday schedule (long weekends every week!)
Short-term assignment until September 4 with a high chance of extension
Opportunity to gain experience in a specialty healthcare setting
Hands-on training with multiple courier and logistics platforms
Clean, organized, and professional work environment
Location: NE, Calgary

A typical day:

Prepare and ship medication orders from the shipping/receiving area
Verify order accuracy and enter shipment details into courier systems
Print shipping labels and package orders according to guidelines
Coordinate daily courier pickups and manage logistics timelines
Handle and organize gel packs, including refrigeration management
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace
Assist with inventory checks and replenishment of supplies
Ensure high accuracy when handling medications and patient orders

Successful candidates will have:

Must have previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience (required)
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfort using technology and learning multiple courier systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs (core requirement; includes moving 15–20 boxes daily for gel pack refrigeration)
Reliability and a strong work ethic
