Warehouse Associate

Agilus is recruiting for several Warehouse Associates in the Supply Chain & Distribution in Calgary, Alberta.
Warehouse Associate responsible for accurately selecting, picking, and packing products according to customer orders. Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and storage areas, ensuring correct quantities and product types are shipped. Use RF scanners to manage picking, inventory, and shipping tasks. Sort, label, wrap, and prepare shipments while verifying accuracy and inspecting for damage. Maintain clean, organized workspaces and accurate inventory records. Assist with cycle counts and cross-train in other warehouse functions. Lift up to 50 lbs and CSA-approved steel-toe footwear needed

Total rewards:
  • $17.00 - $18.00 hourly
  • Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay.
  • Opportunity for extension or permanent placement.
  • Morning Shift - Monday to Friday. 6:30am - 3pm
  • Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday. 3pm - 1130pm
  • Night shift - Sunday to Thursday. 10:00pm-6:30am

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately selecting product according to the customer’s order specifications.
  • Load and unload product onto or from delivery vehicles, pallets, etc.
  • Pulling and preparing product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Perform picking/packing duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
  • Operation Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for various functions including picking, quality, inventory, shipping, etc.
  • Determine the appropriate destination of product by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers and sort packages accordingly.
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.
  • May or may not be responsible for operating warehouse and computer equipment.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment in a similar role.
  • Ability to lift/carry items up to 50lbs
  • Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency experience.
  • Ability to walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Must have the physical ability to: stand – 15%, walk – 15%, lift - 40%.
  • Must be able to manipulate, feel and handle large packages
  • Must be able to work at a challenging pace in a fast-paced work environment to meet deadlines.
  • Mut be able to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend stoop, push and pull
