Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Social Engineering Specialis in the oil and gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
We're seeking a Social Engineering Specialist to lead and enhance an enterprise-wide human risk reduction program. In this highly visible role, you'll design realistic attack simulations, influence security culture, and help build organizational resilience against evolving threats, including AI-driven social engineering attacks.
Total rewards:

$55.00 - $60.00 hourly
1 year contract position
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Lead a high-impact cybersecurity initiative with enterprise-wide visibility
Work with executive stakeholders and cross-functional business leaders
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr T4 or $68/hr Incorporated

A typical day:

Develop and evolve an enterprise-wide social engineering and human risk reduction program
Design and execute phishing, vishing, smishing, and emerging threat simulations
Create realistic attack scenarios based on current threat intelligence and business risks
Analyze behavioral trends and simulation results to identify risk patterns
Deliver actionable insights and executive reporting on human risk metrics
Partner with security, HR, communications, and privacy teams to drive awareness initiatives
Coordinate program delivery across vendors, tools, and internal stakeholders
Recommend and implement targeted interventions to improve employee security behavior

Successful candidates will have:

Experience in social engineering, cybersecurity awareness, human risk management, or information security
Proven ability to design and scale enterprise programs and operating models
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret behavioral data and translate insights into action.
Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, and risk reports
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Familiarity with security awareness platforms and simulation tools
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
