Snr Rotating Equipment Engineer

Brilliant full time permanent opportunity in CalgaryAgilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Snr Rotating Equipment Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Calgary, Alberta. Based at a large petrochemical manufacturing facility in Central Alberta, the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer will report to the Reliability & Discipline Engineering leadership team. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert for rotating equipment, supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the site's production and utility assets. Total rewards:- $150000.00 - $160000.00 annually
- $20k long term incentive, and 15% target short term incentive

- Saving plan, company matching 1.5x’s to a max of 9% 1st 2 years, 2x’s to a max of 12% after 2 years
- Vacation based on years of related experience, 10+ =4 weeks, 19+ = 5 weeks (this is the max.)
Responsibilities:- Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all rotating equipment and associated auxiliary systems
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment reliability issues impacting asset availability and performance.
- Evaluate and implement equipment modifications and improvements through established Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Support the development and execution of capital projects related to rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
- Lead or facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Causal Analysis investigations for equipment failures and reliability incidents, driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, communicate, and mitigate rotating equipment reliability risks and improvement opportunities.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta or eligible for registration.
- 10+ years of experience supporting rotating equipment within petrochemical, refining, chemical processing, or heavy industrial environments.
- Strong experience with large rotating equipment, including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, turbines, and auxiliary systems.
- Experience with condition monitoring and predictive maintenance technologies is preferred.
