Lead Risk Management for Major Projects – Project Manager IV Opportunity in Edmonton or Calgary!Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. Join a leading energy organization as a Project Manager IV, specializing in risk management for major projects. You’ll drive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. This hybrid role offers a mix of office and remote work with occasional travel to project sites. Responsibilities:- Manage risk identification, assessment, response, and monitoring for major projects
- Facilitate early risk and opportunity planning sessions
- Develop templates and flowcharts for risk management processes
- Monitor risk response progress and address emerging risks
- Establish schedule risk models and assess confidence levels for deadlines
- Update risk registers and prepare detailed risk reports
- Conduct constructability reviews and contingency estimations
- Lead lessons learned sessions and communicate findings across teams
Requirements:- 8–12 years of relevant project management experience
- Strong expertise in risk management for large-scale projects
- Ability to lead planning and problem-solving sessions
- Proficiency in cost and schedule analysis
- Experience with contingency estimation and calibration
- Skilled in creating risk reports and maintaining risk registers
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Willingness to travel up to 10% to project sites
Total rewards:- $70.00 - $80.00 hourly
- Competitive hourly rate up to $85/hr for incorporated contractors
- 1-year contract with potential for extension
