Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is looking to hire an 'Account Analyst' (Senior AP Analyst) for their finance team. This person will own the full-cycle AP activities and resolve any challenging invoice, PO, or reconciliations issues. This is the perfect role for someone who loves troubleshooting, has an analytical mindset, and has experience with 2-way and 3-way matching.
What's in it for you:

$33.00 - $45.00 hourly
1-year contract with chance of extension
Monday to Friday, full time in-office
Location: downtown Calgary

Responsibilities:

Working on full-cycle AP including invoice validation, coding, processing, and reconciliations
2-way and 3-way matching
Troubleshooting any PO, pricing, coding, tax issues
Maintaining AP queues - following up on any aging or stalled workflows
Assisting with month-end and year-end tasks including reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting
Managing AP dashboards and KPIs
Being the technical escalation resource for AP matters
Resolving employee expense and policy issues

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on working experience in accounts payable and financial operations
Post-secondary education in finance and accounting
Working experience with 2-way and 3-way matching, PO processing, GR/IR, and reconciliations
Working experience with SAP (or similar ERP)
Able to understand AP dashboards and KPIs
Proven experience troubleshooting automated invoice workflows and transactions
