Agilus is recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant - Engineering & Technical in the Staffing Services Sector in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. How you will make an impact:- Proactively source engineering and technical professionals through outreach, networking, referrals, targeted recruitment campaigns, and compelling job postings
- Conduct thoughtful, high-impact interviews and align candidates to opportunities that match their skills and career goals
- Prepare strong candidate submissions while guiding candidates through interview preparation, client interviews, and debrief discussions
- Manage end-to-end order fulfilment with accuracy and urgency to meet client needs
- Maintain timely, high-quality data within the applicant tracking system to support recruitment activities
- Complete reference checks and support candidate onboarding to ensure a seamless experience
The successful candidate brings:- Proven recruitment experience supporting engineering and technical roles, with the resilience to navigate complex and competitive talent markets
- A natural ability to engage, influence, and build trust; driven by curiosity, credibility, and persistence in long-cycle recruitment conversations
- Strong activity discipline and personal accountability, with a track record of pushing through challenges to deliver high-performance results
- Confidence communicating with diverse audiences across industries and skill levels, even in high-pressure or ambiguous situations
- High level of self-sufficiency and adaptability, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the grit to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Hands-on experience using ATS and/or CRM platforms to stay organized, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum in fast-paced environments
