We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join a fast-paced pharmacy team on a contract basis.Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant in the retail space in Calgary, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable pharmacy experience, work with a supportive team, and contribute to ensuring patients receive timely and accurate medication services. Total rewards:- $20.00 hourly
- Month-to-month contract through year-end
- Consistent daytime schedule with no evenings or weekends
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

A typical day:- Review incoming prescriptions for completeness and accuracy
- Enter, prepare, and process prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy procedures
- Process and troubleshoot third-party insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Assist with pharmacy inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies
- Order, receive, and maintain pharmacy inventory levels
- Monitor inventory and assist with stock replenishment activities
- Maintain accurate records while adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures
Successful candidates will have:- Minimum 3 months of Pharmacy Assistant experience
- Understanding of prescription processing and pharmacy workflows
- Knowledge of third-party insurance claim processing
- Experience entering and maintaining data in pharmacy systems
- Experience with HealthWatch pharmacy software is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
