Agilus is recruiting for a Mechanical Designer in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

Full-time, office-based position

Responsibilities:

Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related software for design tasks
Maintain accuracy and quality in all drawings and documentation
Support continuous improvement in design processes
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Prepare and check layouts, arrangements, and detailed fabrication drawings
Collaborate with drafting team, project managers, engineers, and production teams
Provide technical support during the fabrication process
Ensure compliance with project scope, specifications, and contract requirements

Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology or equivalent experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; experience with PDM and CADWORX
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of ASME codes is an asset
Ability to produce high-quality drawings on time
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management abilities
Experience in heavy industrial or steel industry preferred
