Machinery Engineer / Specialist III
Calgary, AB
Agilus is recruiting for a Machinery Engineer / Specialist III in the oil & gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. Total rewards:- $80.00 hourly
- 12 Months of contract
- 5 days on / 2 days off
- Mon to Friday 8 hours a day
A typical day:- Provide technical training to operations and mechanical.
- Provide quality control and design reviews of new projects that involve rotating equipment.
- Periodically review rotating equipment thermodynamic and mechanical performance.
- Provide assistance in the field during plant start-ups, shutdowns or upsets.
Successful candidates will have:- 10+ years experience, • Oil & gas or oil sands industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science (Engineering),Master’s considered an asset.
- Preferred (P.Eng or eligibility
- Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
- Machinery surveillance & performance monitoring, Reliability and availability optimization, Day-to-day machinery support across operations.
