Logistics Coordinator / Planner

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator/Planner in the Oil and Gas Sector in Calgary, Alberta.
This role is designed for individuals with proven experience in continuous improvement and health & safety incident investigation, who can identify root causes, drive corrective actions, and strengthen operational performance. You will act as a key liaison between third-party carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery execution meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and service.

Total rewards:
  • $30.00 - $40.00 hourly
  • 5 days on / 2 days off
  • 12 months of contract position

A typical day:
  • Support daily fuel delivery operations with carriers and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor transportation performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and support health and safety incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
  • Identify trends in operational and safety data to drive continuous improvement initiatives, Maintain site maps and operational data for a large national customer network.
  • Manage route disruptions, construction impacts, and operational changes, Execute redirects, reroutes, and load holds within SAP.
  • Coordinate pump-outs, field inventory activities, and incident reporting in Enablon, Manage the Trucking group mailbox and respond to operational inquiries.
  • Oversee scheduling of additives and specialty products, Track and steward downgrade and runout reporting.

Successful candidates will have:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations, transportation, or logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience in health and safety incident investigation (e.g., root cause analysis, corrective actions).
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word), Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on solving problems and improving outcomes.
  • Strong commitment to safety leadership and accountability, Continuous improvement mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Ability to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions, Effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong prioritization and execution in a fast-paced environment.
