Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Lease Administration Business Analyst in the oil and gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking a Lease Administration Business Analyst to play a key role in managing a dynamic real estate portfolio by supporting lease lifecycle activities, lease accounting processes, vendor management, budgeting, and business operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of real estate, finance, and business strategy while partnering with diverse stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Total rewards:
  • $50.00 hourly
  • Hybrid work environment offering flexibility and work-life balance
  • Contract Term: August 17, 2026 – June 30, 2027
  • Pay Rate: Up to $50/hr T4 or $57/hr Incorporated (depending on experience)
  • Exposure to lease administration, lease accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Location: Downtown, Calgary

A typical day:
  • Support the full lease lifecycle including renewals, amendments, assignments, and terminations
  • Coordinate lease negotiations by acting as a liaison between business units, landlords, legal counsel, and external stakeholders
  • Facilitate the preparation, review, execution, and administration of lease agreements and related real estate documents
  • Maintain accurate lease records, critical dates, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Manage document workflows, electronic signatures, and contract record retention processes
  • Upload, maintain, and validate lease information within lease administration systems, including PowerPlan
  • Partner with accounting teams to support lease accounting activities, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Process lease payments, reconcile invoices, manage subtenant billing, and investigate payment discrepancies

Successful candidates will have:
  • Proven experience in lease administration, real estate operations, property management, or business analysis
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease agreements and lease documentation processes
  • Experience supporting lease accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, or rent analysis activities
  • Advanced attention to detail with the ability to manage critical dates, contracts, and records accurately
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Experience working with lease management, ERP, accounting, or financial systems such as PowerPlan or similar platforms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
