Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Junior Integrity Engineer in the energy sector in Calgary, Alberta.
Agilus is recruiting for a Pipeline Integrity Engineer/Technologist (Deformation Management) in the energy sector. In this role, you will support pipeline integrity programs by assessing deformation-related defects, analyzing in-line inspection (ILI) data, and contributing to safe, reliable pipeline operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented engineering professional who enjoys data analysis, technical problem solving, and working collaboratively on critical infrastructure projects.

A typical day:
  • Perform deformation assessments using ILI data and pipeline information, including dent strain analysis
  • Validate and improve data quality by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Create and maintain excavation work units and generate dig packages for planned integrity activities
  • Support Dent Engineering Critical Assessment programs through candidate identification and technical documentation
  • Prepare engineering reports, technical memorandums, and assessment packages
  • Track program metrics and support project planning, KPI reporting, and program execution activities

Requirements:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Engineering Technology
  • Be eligible for APEGA registration (EIT or P.Eng.) or ASET certification (C.E.T.)
  • Possess 2+ years of pipeline integrity experience with exposure to deformation threat management
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities when working with technical data
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a team environment
  • Bring experience with ILI data analysis, Dent ECA, regulatory compliance, or automation/coding tools as strong assets
