Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Junior Business Analyst in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support sustainability, climate strategy, and data governance initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys transforming complex data into meaningful business insights.
Responsibilities:

Analyze and visualize sustainability and operational data using Power BI and other reporting tools.
Support KPI tracking, performance dashboards, and business reporting initiatives.
Conduct research and benchmarking on ESG, climate, and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data governance, reporting, and disclosure activities.
Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

1-5 years of experience in Business Analysis roles.
Strong Power BI and data visualization skills.
Experience with data governance, reporting, and business intelligence.
Exposure to ESG, sustainability, climate reporting, or related initiatives.
Energy, Utilities, or Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred.

Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in office)
