Enterprise Monitoring Analyst – Lead SolarWinds, Observability & Infrastructure Operations
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Infrastructure Analyst in the oil and gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking an Enterprise Monitoring Analyst to own and enhance a large-scale enterprise monitoring environment spanning infrastructure, cloud, network, application, and operational technology platforms. This high-impact role combines platform administration, incident management, observability, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure critical business systems remain reliable, secure, and highly available. Ideal candidates will bring strong SolarWinds expertise, a passion for operational excellence, and a proactive approach to monitoring and automation.
Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize the enterprise SolarWinds monitoring platform
Monitor infrastructure, network, cloud, application, and operational technology environments
Configure alerts, thresholds, event correlation, and notification processes
Coordinate incident response and escalation activities for service-impacting events
Analyze performance trends and operational data to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Develop dashboards, operational reports, and service performance metrics
Collaborate with technical teams to establish monitoring standards and expand visibility

Requirements:

Demonstrate strong enterprise-level SolarWinds administration experience
Apply experience monitoring infrastructure, network, cloud, application, and OT environments
Support Microsoft Azure services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Virtual Machines, Networking, and Entra ID
Administer and support Windows Server environments, including performance monitoring and patching
Utilize incident, event, problem, and change management best practices
Design monitoring strategies, alert frameworks, and escalation processes
