Our client, a fast-paced construction supply company, is seeking a hands-on HR Manager to join their team and make an impact!Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager in the construction supply and distribution industry in Calgary, Alberta. A hands-on opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and managing day-to-day HR priorities.

How you will make an impact:- Partner with Staffing on recruitment and workforce needs across the business.
- Collaborate with leaders on performance management and improvement initiatives.
- Support HR policy integration during acquisitions and organizational changes.
- Partner with management to resolve employee relations matters.
- Align employees with organizational goals, values, and vision.
- Identify and deliver training and development programs.
- Act as a key HR resource for employees and management on policies and procedures.
You bring:- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with several years in an HR Manager-level role preferred. Strong expertise in performance management and employee relations.
- Solid knowledge of labour and employment legislation. Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple provinces.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Engaging, approachable, and collaborative leadership style.
- Demonstrated career stability and a consistent employment history.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Workday experience is an asset.
- Ability to travel within Canada, including overnight travel approximately 20–50% of the time.
