Human Resources Manager role now open in SE Calgary!
Agilus is recruiting for a Human Resources Manager in the manufacturing sector in Calgary, Alberta.
We're working with our client to find them a fantastic HR Manager to join their team permanently. This person will be helping to create policies, handle employee relations, and act as the advisor to managers. The perfect person for this role is creative, organized, and looking for a long term opportunity with growth.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time in-office

Responsibilities:

Overseeing a team
Acting as an advisor to managers and providing insights
Workforce planning, overseeing staffing strategies
Employee relations and investigations, performance management
Creating and managing HR policies and best practices
Updating the HRIS system
Ensuring compliance to labor laws and safety regulations

Requirements:

Post secondary completion in HR or related field
Experience leading HR teams
Strong working knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
Experienced with HRIS systems
Experience setting up new HR policies and processes
Handled investigations or employee relations as an HR leader
7+ years of human resources experience in the manufacturing, construction, or industrial industries
