Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Human Resource Generalist in the oil and gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.

Total rewards:

$25.00 - $29.00 hourly
Contract position September 14, 2026 – June 15, 2027
Hybrid work environment with two work-from-home days per week
Opportunity to gain experience within a large, complex HR organization
Opportunity to contribute to process improvements and service excellence initiatives
Location: Downtown

A typical day:

Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and retirees
Provide accurate guidance and support regarding HR policies, programs, procedures, and practices
Manage employee lifecycle cases from initiation through completion, coordinating with internal HR teams as required
Deliver timely and professional support through online portals, telephone, and chat channels
Investigate and resolve inquiries while escalating complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary
Maintain accurate records of employee inquiries and updates within case management and HR information systems
Support the administration of various HR programs and initiatives for employees and leaders
Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery, user experience, and operational efficiency

Successful candidates will have:

University degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of Human Resources or related experience
At least 1 year of customer service or employee support experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Exceptional customer service mindset with a focus on delivering positive employee experiences
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience with Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, or other HRIS systems is considered a strong asset
