We are seeking an Intermediate Financial Analyst to join a high-performing financial reporting team supporting quarterly and annual reporting, financial analysis, and corporate disclosures. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile financial reporting activities, collaborate with multiple business units, and gain exposure to a dynamic, large-scale corporate environment. A day in the life:- Support the preparation and coordination of quarterly and annual Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) reporting
- Assist in preparing financial statement support schedules and related reporting documentation
- Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and validate financial information
- Prepare reconciliations, working papers, and supporting documentation for external audit requirements
- Contribute to the preparation of pension plan financial statements and regulatory/statistical reporting
- Perform financial analysis and evaluate accounting processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based models supporting reporting and compliance activities
- Identify and implement process improvements, reporting efficiencies, and best practices while supporting ad hoc projects and financial analyses
Successful candidates will have:- 4 to 9 years of accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis experience
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and quality in a deadline-driven environment
