Field Service Technician (Air Compressors)

Agilus is recruiting for a Field Service Technician (Air Compressors) in the Heavy Equipment Industry in Calgary, Alberta.
Our client is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to maintain, service, and commission industrial air compressors for their customers. You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, ensure timely documentation, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires technical expertise, independence, and a commitment to safety while representing our client's company standards.

Total rewards:
  • $35.00 - $44.00 hourly

A typical day:
  • Perform maintenance and service on customer compressors.
  • Commission new equipment and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical faults.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through training and resources.
  • Represent the company professionally and exceed customer expectations.
  • Complete administrative tasks including time sheets and service reports.
  • Provide strategic solutions and advise on new business opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with service managers and sales representatives.
  • Follow all health & safety policies and complete required training.

Successful candidates will have:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience servicing air compressors.
  • Certification in Industrial Electrician, Millwright, or HVAC/Refrigeration (or equivalent experience).
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills in English.
  • Physical endurance and willingness to travel, including evenings/weekends.
  • Proficiency with tools and hands-on mechanical work.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams).
