Agilus is recruiting for a Facilities Planning Specialist in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.
This Facilities Planning Specialist role focuses on shaping functional, safe, and cost effective corporate workplaces across multiple office locations. The position leads space planning, workplace design, furniture planning, and office build outs while partnering closely with facilities leadership, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. Ideal for an experienced facilities professional, this role blends technical planning expertise with strong coordination, budgeting, and relationship management skills in a fast paced corporate environment.

Total rewards:
  • $80000.00 - $120000.00 annually
  • Earn a competitive salary of $80,000–$100,000 for intermediate level experience; Access senior level compensation up to approximately $120,000 based on experience
  • Secure a full time, permanent employee position

Responsibilities:
  • Lead space planning and reconfiguration to align with business needs
  • Develop conceptual drawings and layouts for office and leasehold spaces
  • Support design and delivery of office build outs, renovations, and relocations
  • Plan, source, budget, and track furniture purchases across locations
  • Coordinate third party contractors and vendors to support facilities projects
  • Ensure vendor compliance with insurance, WCB, and building standards
  • Conduct site visits to oversee projects and assess space requirements
  • Prepare drawings and documentation to support construction activities

Requirements:
  • Bring 6+ years of progressive corporate facilities planning experience
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency using AutoCAD for space planning
  • Apply solid knowledge of budgeting and building processes
  • Interpret and work confidently with floor plans and blueprints
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tracking and reporting
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail
  • Maintain flexibility and willingness to travel as required
