Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contracts Advisor in the oil and gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.
This is an opportunity to join a high-impact supply chain team where your expertise in sourcing strategy, supplier engagement, and cost optimization will directly shape business performance.
Total rewards:

$60.00 - $70.00 hourly
12 -months contract position
Opportunity to own and influence end-to-end contract lifecycle decisions
Pay rate based on experience
Location: Downtown, Calgary
Chance to strengthen expertise in sourcing, contracts, and supplier strategy

Responsibilities:

Partner with internal stakeholders to define business requirements
Develop sourcing strategies aligned with operational objectives
Identify cost-reduction opportunities through market analysis
Lead sourcing events, including RFx processes and supplier selection
Negotiate commercial terms to achieve measurable cost savings
Design and implement contracting and negotiation strategies
Manage contract lifecycle, including compliance and performance
Support contract governance, approvals, and claims management

Successful candidates will have:

3-5 years of relevant experience in contracts, sourcing, or procurement
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
Strong background in cost optimization and total cost of ownership analysis
Advanced negotiation skills with service-based contracts
Solid understanding of contracting models and risk management
Experience with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba or similar tools)
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
