Agilus is recruiting for a Contractor Operator in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.
Join a leading midstream energy company as a Contract Operator supporting multiple field locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan. This role involves operating and monitoring equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining production efficiency. Total rewards:

$35.00 - $40.00 hourly
Competitive hourly truck rate of $25/hr plus fuel surcharge
Opportunity to work across multiple locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor pumps, compressors, and production equipment
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
Record and analyse production data to optimise processes
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Participate in safety meetings and emergency response drills
Respond to equipment failures and environmental incidents
Collaborate with field operators, engineers, and management
Communicate effectively to support smooth operations

Requirements:

5–10 years of oil and gas operations experience
Technical training or certification in oil and gas preferred
Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS)
Physically fit to work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
Must pass drug and alcohol testing and provide a clean driver’s abstract
