Contract Surface A&D Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for a Contract Surface A&D Analyst in the city of in Calgary, Alberta.
We are seeking an experienced Surface A&D Analyst with over 10 years of experience to join our Land A&D team. The ideal candidate will be independent, results-driven, and detail-oriented, capable of managing surface land A&D activities for various projects, including area deals, corporate projects, and day-to-day A&D queries. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can multitask and pivot in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely project completion and continuous process improvement.

A typical day:

Support Surface land A&D activities, including reviewing and validating land and well schedules, preparing conveyance documents, and updating land systems
Identify and communicate potential risks with Surface A&D activities to internal stakeholders
Identify discrepancies and post-close deficiencies, and remedy as applicable
Support continuous process improvement and development
Assist with various projects within Land as requested
Complete chain of title and solve complex A&D problems

Must have:

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience with CS Land, OneStop, ETS, ISC, Land Titles, Abadata, and mapping programs
Minimum of 10 years of surface land experience, with a focus on A&D activity
Petroleum Land Administration certificate or equivalent experience
Ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Solid understanding of regulations for Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and other regulatory bodies
