NPI Planner & Scheduler – Camp-Based Rotation | Infrastructure Maintenance & Projects | Alberta Oil Sands
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Contract Non Process Infrastructure (NPI) Planner and Scheduler in the Energy / Oil & Gas / Industrial Operations in Calgary, Alberta.
An experienced NPI Planner & Scheduler is required to plan, coordinate, and optimise maintenance and small projects across non-process infrastructure at a remote oil sands site. This role supports roads, utilities, facilities, and aerodrome operations, driving safe, efficient execution through strong planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Total rewards:

$70.00 - $90.00 hourly

A typical day:

Plan and schedule trades and service providers for infrastructure maintenance activities
Develop and manage CMMS-based preventive maintenance programmes
Prepare detailed work packages including labour, materials, tools, and cost estimates
Coordinate corrective maintenance and small project execution
Create and issue work orders, service requests, and purchase requisitions
Prioritise work notifications based on safety, risk, and operational needs
Track KPIs such as backlog, utilisation, and maintenance cost performance
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and turnaround teams

Successful candidates will have:

Hold valid authorisation to work in Canada
Possess Journeyman Trade Certification with 5+ years industrial experience
Demonstrate 3+ years planning and scheduling experience
Show strong proficiency with CMMS systems
Apply excellent organisational and time-management skills
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
Work efficiently in fast-paced, multi-priority environments
Use MS Office tools including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
