Lead Field Safety in Energy Projects – H&S Advisor Contract (Lloydminster) | Up to $54/hr
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Healthy and Safety Advisor in the Oil & Gas / Energy in Lloydminster, Alberta.
Join a major energy operator as a Contract Health & Safety Advisor supporting field execution teams in Lloydminster. You will provide expert guidance on H&S legislation, programmes, and standards while driving strong safety culture and compliance. This role is ideal for a hands-on advisor with major projects experience who thrives in field environments and can influence teams to deliver safe, consistent performance.
Total rewards:

$44.00 - $54.00 hourly
Earn competitive hourly pay up to $54/hr (IC) or up to $44/hr (T4)
Work on a 12-month full-time contract (13 July 2026 to 12 July 2027)
Gain experience on large-scale oil and gas field operations
Engage in high-impact safety leadership and advisory work
Collaborate with experienced project and operations teams
Build expertise in advanced operational integrity systems

Responsibilities:

Provide guidance on OHS legislation, standards, and internal programmes
Coach teams on safety processes, expectations, and best practices
Support implementation of H&S strategy aligned with business goals
Review project safety plans and participate in contractor meetings
Promote safe behaviours and strengthen ownership across teams
Communicate timely safety updates to key stakeholders
Support compliance with operational integrity management systems
Share lessons learned and improve organisational safety knowledge

Requirements:

Hold legal authorization to work in Canada
Possess 5+ years of oil and gas H&S experience
Demonstrate experience in major projects or field operations
Hold NCSO, CRSP, CRST, or equivalent OH&S certification
Exhibit strong knowledge of H&S management systems
Show ability to make decisions under pressure and tight timelines
Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills
Be local to Lloydminster or able to commute daily
