Are you a seasoned contract professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments? We are seeking an experienced Contract Formation Specialist to support large-scale capital projects by leading strategic sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations, and contract development activities from concept through execution. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping high-value commercial agreements while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Total rewards:

$60.00 - $70.00 hourly

A typical day:

Lead full-cycle tendering activities including solicitation development, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract award
Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to develop sourcing and contracting strategies
Negotiate commercial terms and conditions that align with organizational objectives
Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
Ensure contractual compliance with governance, legal, and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate contract records and documentation within contract management systems
Develop and enhance contract templates, standards, and best practices
Provide contract formation expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle

Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a related discipline
10+ years of experience in contract formation, procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial contracting
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk allocation principles
Proven experience leading complex tendering and competitive bid processes
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with contract management, procurement, or ERP systems
