Contract Commercial Contract Analyst

Agilus is recruiting for a Contract Commercial Contract Analyst in the oil & gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. This Contract, Commercial Contract Analyst will be supporting Commercial Commodities Contracts team and their requirement to execute the Legal Entity Optimization (LEO) program. This includes being accountable for reviewing, drafting and applying LEO changes to various agreements including but not limited to, crude oil, NGL, natural gas, refined products related commodity agreements, as well as guarantees, assignments, and other various agreements with multiple internal and external stakeholders. The deliverables support readiness for the go-live date for commercial activities. Total rewards:- $55.00 hourly
- 12 Months of contract
- Mon to Friday, 8 hours a day
A typical day:- Performing a range of general administrative duties to ensure effective support is provided to the Commercial Commodity Contracts team.
- Scoping and analysis of crude oil, natural gas, NGL, refined products purchase and sale agreements. This includes, but is not limited to, General Terms and Conditions and Master Agreements.
- Scoping and analysis of credit support documentation including parental guarantees. Creating, updating, revising, and tracking amounts of large data regarding business stakeholder information.
- Provides support to internal and external business stakeholders with communications and negotiations and timely execution of various commodities related agreements.
- Coordinates with Front Office and its support functions such as Credit, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, Customs and Risk Compliance to: review, negotiate and amend various commodities purchase and sale agreements.
Successful candidates will have:- 3+ years related experience as a Contract Analyst, Legal Administration role or similar.
- Legal Assistant or Business Administration diploma is preferred.
- Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Experience in execution, management and retention of contracts.
- Proficiency in understanding of legal contractual language.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, Accurate and detail-oriented, Disciplined organizational and time management skills.
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team, Professional communication and stakeholder management, Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities.
