Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Construction Surveyor in the Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure industry in Calgary, Alberta.

This hands-on role combines field surveying, construction layout, data analysis, drafting, and modelling work using advanced survey technology. You'll contribute to complex infrastructure projects while enjoying a unique rotational schedule, travel coverage, and the opportunity to extend beyond the initial contract term.
Total rewards:

$43.00 - $50.00 hourly
Earn a competitive pay rate of $43-$50 per hour
Work a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension

Responsibilities:

Coordinate construction survey activities for heavy civil projects
Perform construction layout and field surveying using modern survey equipment
Conduct as-built surveys and analyze survey data
Complete quantity calculations to support project progress reporting
Develop and maintain accurate survey records and documentation
Create and update survey models, drawings, and drafting deliverables
Manage and maintain survey instruments and related assets
Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards across all project activities

Requirements:

Possess a diploma or degree in surveying, geomatics, engineering technology, or a related field
Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of construction surveying experience
Interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications
Operate Total Stations and modern GPS survey equipment proficiently
Utilize Civil 3D or comparable drafting and modelling software effectively
Apply experience with drone surveying and UAV data collection
Maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
Work independently in remote outdoor environments with minimal supervision
