Construction Site Assistant

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Construction Site Assistant in the residential sector in Calgary, Alberta.
As a Construction Site Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting residential construction projects from early build stages through to final occupancy. Working closely with Site Supervisors and trade partners, you’ll help keep sites organized, prepared, and moving forward. This is a field-based, hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety in their day, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
We offer:

$55000.00 - $75000.00 annually
Secure full-time, permanent employment

Work closely with experienced Site Supervisors and skilled trades
Build long-term career stability within active construction projects
Develop practical skills through varied, hands-on site work

A typical day:

Support daily site operations by preparing work areas for trades and inspections
Perform early-stage construction tasks including utility exposure and basement floor treatments
Assist during framing with installations, setup, and general site cleanup
Complete framing and rough-in support such as blocking, fire-stopping, and garage or bathroom tasks
Conduct quality checks during drywall and painting phases and complete minor repairs
Prepare homes for occupancy through detailing, caulking, cleaning, and deficiency touch-ups

Successful candidates will have:

Bring a minimum of 2 years of residential construction experience
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and pride in finished work
Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Communicate clearly with supervisors, trades, and team members
Perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
