Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Construction Safety Advisor in the residential sector in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta. Our client is seeking a hands-on Safety Advisor to support residential construction sites across Calgary. This field-focused role is ideal for a safety professional who thrives on building relationships, coaching site teams, and driving a strong safety culture. You’ll work closely with supervisors and trade partners to proactively manage risk, ensure Alberta OHS compliance, and support ongoing COR requirements while maintaining safe, efficient job sites. Responsibilities:- Promote compliance with Alberta OHS legislation and internal safety standards
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations and implement corrective actions
- Deliver safety orientations and onboarding for employees and trade partners
- Coach site leadership and trades on safe work practices and behaviours
- Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and COR audit readiness
Requirements:- Bring 3–5 years of construction safety experience
- Demonstrate experience in residential construction environments
- Apply strong knowledge of Alberta OHS and COR program requirements
- Communicate confidently with site teams, supervisors, and trades
- Hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Leverage Microsoft Office and digital safety platforms such as SiteDocs
