Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients team in a contract position
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the retail space in Calgary, Alberta.
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for supporting the team by accurately processing vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining proper documentation.
A typical day:

Receive, review, and process vendor invoices in the accounting system
Match invoices against purchase orders and supporting documents
Verify invoice details, including purchase orders, pricing, and approvals.
Data entry, sorting and scanning invoices
Perform account reconciliations and assist with year-end accruals
Prioritize high volume of emails daily.

Successful candidates will have:

1+ year of Accounts Payable experience
Proven ability to handle high volume of invoices
bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate in accounting, business administration or related field
Strong background in vendor invoice

Total rewards:

$20.00 - $23.00 hourly
3-6 month contract with a high extension chance!
Pay rate depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Location: SE, Calgary

Ability to meet weekly deadlines in a fast-paced environment
