Accounts Payable Analyst (P2P) Role Open! Start ASAP! $26/hour+
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Analyst (P2P) in the oil & gas industry in a hybrid work environment in Calgary, Alberta.
Be the engine behind seamless procurement and payments. In this P2P (AP) Analyst role, you’ll combine analytical thinking with hands-on execution to keep processes running efficiently while supporting innovation through automation and AI.
Total rewards:

$26.00 - $38.00 hourly
Hybrid model (4 days in-office, 1 remote)
Exposure to end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations
Opportunity to work on automation & AI-driven initiatives
Hands-on experience with procurement and finance systems
Collaborative, cross-functional environment
Build experience in a fast-paced, high-volume settin
Potential for contract extension

A typical day:

Create and manage purchase requisitions in line with policies
Partner with stakeholders to capture and action procurement needs
Validate and process invoices against POs and receipts
Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely vendor payments
Support end-to-end P2P operations with Procurement and AP teams
Maintain coding structures for complex invoice processing
Assist with month-end activities (e.g., accruals)
Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries

Successful candidates will have:

1–5 years’ experience in Procurement, AP, or related field
Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards and/or ePro preferred)
Experience with high volume AP invoices
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (incl. Power BI a plus)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification (preferred)
